Lantern Song

The center of this quilt is a panel called "Lantern Song" by David Galchutt, an Oregon illustrator. The inspiration for the quilt was a gift from Ellen Crocker of eight 5"x8" abstract blocks in Asian fabrics. I used the blocks to make a border and planned everythng else in the quilt to coordinate with those blocks.
