I began quilting after moving to the vibrant quilting community of Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii in 2009.

I especially enjoy creating whimsical custom pet portraits out of upholstery fabrics, based on photographs and ideas submitted by customers.

I have also been active in the basset hound rescue community since 2003 and make basset hound themed bed quilts to benefit various rescue organizations in the United States.

In addition, I enjoy making landscape and other art quilts of all sizes. Prior to taking up quilting, I did landscape painting.

Some of my quilts are carried at Quilt Passions, and some of my paintings are carried at Collette's Art Gallery, both in Kailua-Kona.
